112 Furuno Radars Radars 1623 X-Band Radar Systems This 2.2kW radar has a 16 nautical mile range, yet will zoom down to 1/8 nautical mile for tight navigation in harbors and inlets. The 1623 radar lets you readily identify objects, thanks to a high definition 6" Silver Bright LCD screen that clearly separates targets. Plus, the four-tone target display lets you easily di¾erentiate between stronger and weaker echoes, helping to alert you of any danger. 1715 X-Band Radar Systems The 1715 is a high contrast LCD radar designed for pleasure craft and small fishing boats. Radar echoes are presented in four shades of gray on the 7" Silver Bright LCD. The Radar o¾ers detailed pictures of coastline and targets at short ranges thanks to narrower pulse lengths and dual IF bandwidths. The antenna rotation speed automatically changes depending on the range selection for optimum target detection. The compact, waterproof display allows table top or panel mounting in the cockpit or on the open fly bridge. 1835/1935/1945 Radars These high contrast 10.4" color LCD radars are designed for a wide range of vessels including pleasure craft, fishing boats and work boats. They o¾er crystal clear target presentation with automatic Gain/Sea/Rain controls to deliver noise-free radar presentation. It features superb detection of even small targets both at short and long range. Easy-to-install 10.4" portrait color LCD (350 cd) display Bonded LCD provides clear view in all weather conditions Stable AIS/ARPA target-tracking with zoom display function Enhanced auto tuning/gain/anti-clutter controls Echoes in yellow, green, orange or multiple colors 12-24 VDC FAR2xx7 X-Band Radar Systems This series of equipment is designed to meet the exacting standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) FAR2117/2127/ & 2137S/12 for ships of 1000 GT and more but less than 10000 GT. (NOTE:300 GT ships can carry this series of radars) The FAR2137S/12 utilizes a 12' antenna radiator. The S-band radar assures target detection in adverse weather where X-band radar are heavily a¾ected by sea or rain clutter. Improved detection capability by new MIC and I/F amplifier High resolution DVI-D LCD display providing crisp echo images Two independent X- and S-band radars can be interswitched to meet SOLAS requirements on ships 3,000 - 10,000 GT Low spurious magnetrons meeting ITU-R unwanted emission stds Standard ARPA functions displaying 100 ARPA targets acquisition Complies with the following IMO and IEC regulation; IEC 60936-1 shipborne radar, IEC 60936-2 HSC radar, IEC 60872-1 ARPA, IEC 60872-2 ATA, IEC 60832-3 EPA, IEC 60945 General requirements, IMO MSC.64(67) Annex 4, IMO A.823(19) ARPA function is provided as standard Interswitch capability without dedicated hardware for dual or multiple radar/ARPA installation - up to four radar systems can be connected in the network Furuno
