BANJO PATERSON SELF-DRIVE HISTORICAL TRAIL
Explore the trail of Banjo’s early childhood. Pick up a brochure from the Orange
Visitor Centre and follow the trail from Orange to Yeoval. See where he was born and
where he grew up. While in Yeoval see the Banjo Paterson Museum and have lunch
either at the museum or a picnic over in the park, then return to Orange.

NARRAMBLA & BANJO – ORANGE REGIONAL MUSEUM
The Orange Regional Museum will host two displays in the Museum foyer –
A multimedia display will feature photographs, letters and documents relating to
the life of Banjo and a second will be of objects from Templar’s Mill located on the
Narrambla property where Banjo was born in 1864.

SCHOOL WORKSHOPS WITH POETS
Champion bush poets, Mel and Susie, will work with students in schools across the
region to develop their interest and skills in writing and performing poetry in very
entertaining and memorable workshops. School students will also be able to perform
individually or as a class group in a range of open microphone events, including
Breakfasts in the Park, Night Market, Emmaville Market and street busking.
