Memorial Day Memorial Day Ceremony 12 p.m. Green Veterans Memorial Park Join Mayor Dick Norton and the community of Green to honor the men and women who have served our country and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Community Picnic and Car Show 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m. John Torok Community/Senior Center and Veterans Park Immediately following the Memorial Day Ceremony, the community is invited to stay for a free picnic lunch of hotdogs, chips, soft drink and ice cream treat, while supplies last, and the annual community car show. www.cityofgreen.org 13 Memorial Day Events Monday, May 25, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Pancake Breakfast 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Fire Station #1 Donations only. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. Donations only to benefit a local charity (TBD). Parking is available behind fire station #1, the John Torok Community and Senior Center parking lot, Anthony Funeral Home and Queen of Heaven Church. Memorial Day Parade 10 a.m. step off from the high school The parade route begins at the high school on Boettler Road and heads east to Massillon Road south to Steese Road and west to the Green Middle School. On Massillon Road, the parade will only travel along the south bound lanes to ensure easy access to the two emergency rooms in Green. Please no parking at the Green Intermediate or Middle School.
