you:
• Arrived in the UK via Ireland and have
not received an entry stamp in your
passport
• Were unable to collect your Biometric
Residence Permit (BRP) from the Post
Office on arrival
• Have lost your passport and/or visa/
BRP
• Have issues trying to enrol and collect
your student ID card.
Attendance and Checkpoint
It is important that you attend lectures,
seminars, tutorials, assessments and
submit coursework as required. You
must inform your department of any
temporary absence for example due to
illness. In addition to attending classes,
Tier 4 Students must attend attendance
checkpoint events where they will
be required to present their current
passport and visa documentation for
checking.
Failure to attend classes or checkpoints
with no satisfactory reason will result in
the student being withdrawn from their
programme of study and reported to
UKVI.
If you do not have your passport or
visa during a Tier 4 visa attendance
checkpoint, please contact or see the
VISA Team.
