Join our Students’ Association
When you start at GCU you’ll automatically become a
member of the Students’ Association. We primarily exist to
represent GCU students and are the student voice to ensure
a high quality student experience. Recent successes include
No Graduation Fees from Summer 2020 and the creation of
the Postgraduate Study Space, Mature Student Room and the
Library Rooftop Garden reopening.
We support the academic representatives on each course and
the postgraduate representatives within your academic school
to ensure high-quality learning and teaching, and our Advice
Centre can confidentially support any of your personal or
academic issues that arise.
There are many ways to get involved such as joining a sports
club, society, student magazine or radio station, liberation or
representation groups, our student Nightline service or our
sector-leading Student Leaders Programme. You’ll soon find
like-minded people who share your interests and make friends.
The Students’ Association Building has a popular bar and grill,
bookable group study rooms and a 24-hour computer lab. Find
