GCU response to COVID
As the University for the Common Good, our
sense of purpose, clear vision and commitment
to living our values were fundamental to our
successful response to the prolonged crisis which
has impacted every aspect of our lives and work.
Our swift and united reaction was recognised by
Times Higher Education, which named us one
of eight UK institutions best positioned to meet
the challenges thrown up by the pandemic.
Hundreds of student nurses and paramedic
science students responded to NHS Scotland’s
call to work in hospitals across the country in the
first weeks of the pandemic.

We have city campuses in Glasgow,
London and New York and partner
institutions across Africa and Asia. You’ll
