
Occupational therapy and human
nutrition and dietetics
GCU’s occupational therapy degree develops the skills
needed to work in health, social care and beyond. The
Dietetics degree is highly student-centred and prepares
you to be a ‘Dietitian of the future’. As well as being HCPC
approved, graduates of BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
are eligible to apply for membership of the Royal College
of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and graduates of BSc
(Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics can apply for
membership of the British Dietetics Association (BDA).

Dietetics
Dietetics applies the science of nutrition to the
prevention and treatment of disease. You can become
an effective practitioner in healthcare settings using
science to promote health and nutrition to individuals
and groups.
