Fast Find Max-G PLB
One of McMurdo’s toughest personal locator beacons,
the Max-G transmits a 406 Mhz alert signal to
COSPAS-SARSAT satellites when activated. That
signal is then forwarded to a rescue coordination
center, typically within 3 minutes. The built-in GPS
receiver then provides latitude and longitude
coordinates to give a position for rescue.

SmartFind Personal AIS Beacons
Only available from McMurdo, the revolutionary S20 and
S10 are personal AIS beacons that transmit accurate
GPS target tracking position information with serialized
ID to plotters and onboard navigation systems within a
4 nm range (based on sea conditions). This allows all
ships in the vicinity to assist in fast recovery of
personnel in a man overboard situation.
