• Come to a comfortable seat, on the fl oor or in a chair • Sit up tall and close your eyes • Place both hands over your chest • Breathe deeply into your heartspace and visualise a small fl ame under your fi ngers • Grow the fl ame with each breath until your torso is fi lled with shining light • Feel the warmth radiate out from you and bathe in the light • Think of someone you know who needs a bit of love right now • Visualise the light and warmth you have cultivated travelling to them and buoying them up • Continue to breathe deeply • Slowly shrink the fl ame until it's a small glowing point within your heart • Open your eyes Ruth is yoga teacher living and working in Oban.
