Throughout the Easter holidays

and heritage sites put on Easter
events to encourage locals and
tourists to visit and explore. It’s
one of their busiest times of
year, and though each event is
diff erent, they combine a fun
family day out (and usually some
chocolate) with the chance to
appreciate some of Scotland’s
most stunning outdoor
and historical assets.

Dunbeg, you can join the Easter

At Ardkinglas Woodland
Garden, near Inveraray, an Easter
event on Saturday April 4th will
include fairy and Gruff alo trails,
face painting and a bunny hunt.
Oban’s Dunollie Museum,
Castle & Grounds will host
Dunollie’s Easter Egg-Stravaganza,
a family activity day
from midday on Sunday April
12th with an egg hunt, bonnet
making, crafts and more.

most of the events are charities

money raised is re-invested
in improving facilities and
conserving the sites for
future generations.
