bats fl ying above – if you are
young enough you might
be able to hear their super-
high-pitched calls.
We have a range of activities
for visitors big and
small at our wildlife centre in
Knapdale Forest. These include
craft and nature tables,
hands-on artefacts, a badge
maker, sighting records
board, and a wildlife viewing
window. We also provide visitor
information, and our kettle
is always on.
To protect our wonderful
wildlife, it’s vital that we know
what we have. You can help
by recording what you see.
Post a photo of your plant
or animal to our Facebook
group Heart of Argyll Wildlife,
tell us where the photo was
taken and when, and we can
record your sighting. If you
want to identify and record
something yourself take a
look at www.ispotnature.org
– it’s great for all ages and
levels.
Heart of Argyll Wildlife is
based at Barrandaimh in
