Welcome to the October issue of West Coast Review!
It’s feeling decidedly autumnal in Argyll this month, and while the damp
and darker nights might take some getting used to, it is also wonderful
to enjoy the West Coast’s autumn sights and sounds, from the red on
the rowan trees to the roaring of the stags.
With the bustle of summer over, autumn can also be a season when
we fi nd we have a bit more time on our hands, and if that means you
are looking for an activity to take part in, please read on.
West Coast Review always features community stories, but this edition
we have focused on community groups – such as Argyll Animal Aid,
the Royal Voluntary Service, and Oban and Lorn Lions Club – which
are on the look out for new volunteers.
If you’ve been thinking about giving some time to a good cause, why
not read their stories and see if you might like to get involved?
The West Coast Review team love celebrating your activities
and achievements. If you have a story that you would like to
tell, or you want to fi ll us in about your event, project or
campaign, do get in touch and share your news.
